it's still better than most of the stuff this season
it also tells a decently interesting story with good characters/backstories. there's still a lot of gray area as to why stuff happens (and it feels like ep12 isn't gonna be that amazing, as well as low chances for s2), but for a seasonal show to do this is beyond amazing. don't get me wrong, it's still not that good, but comparatively it's one of the better shows
it's not even close to doing horror correctly, so you're right on that one
