Yea that's a good point, but I know people who've only watched brotherhood and don't intend to watch the original. I feel like Maes wasn't present enough in brotherhood, neither was the teacher. I like the original series better but i enjoy brotherhood.

The original went into more detail on the boys and the characters. It showed Ed getting his state certification, while brotherhood basically starts after that.

monster musume is both the best and the worst anime ever created

it highlights the interworkings and hardships of inter-species (interracial) relationships and the feelings that come along with it. kind of funny that the first human couple seen is interracial lol
