I watched the third Berserk movie.
The CG was a bit jarring at times but in general it works pretty well and there have been much worse uses of CG in other movies. The humans pretty much all look human, they move like humans, and it's only used when large crowds of people need to be presented on screen. Because large numbers of moving and fighting people are hard as forget to animate, I'm willing to give it a free pass.
The actual hand drawn animation is really good when it appears (which is mostly when emotion is conveyed through facial expressions or body movement.) In general, the main cast of characters are expertly animated, and you can easily tell what the characters are feeling purely through their face, like Casca's frustration and fatigue when she goes to see Grifith.
The story, visuals, etc. were all... well, it's Berserk. It's loving awesome.
And holy stuff that ending sequence was visually AMAZING.
