Author Topic: Red slopes?  (Read 1895 times)

The map "The Slopes" is Red instead of white! Anyone else having this? No matter where you go most of the snow is red instead of white

I had that problem too. I don't know how I got it to fix.

that's because today is satan day.

This definitely has to do with the day. Mine is also red. I'm trying to find what in the code is doing this. Considering my player isn't tinted, this isn't a lighting thing. The terrain itself, I can't find what would make it red. But this has to do with "11 11 11" in the same way as "6 6 6," if Orion is right.

NoEdit:

I can't find what's making the land red, but it isn't lighting. The texture files are normal, as well.

Oh wow. Red Slopes..
Interesting..but why?

Renderman.

This is the onlyunlogical excuse.

While looking through the Blockland.exe binary, I found the following section at the end of line 16778:
Quote from: Blockland.exe
11O 11O#11O%22O#11
If Torque complies in such a way that integers are treated as strings, then this might imply that something is designed to happen on 11/11/11.

So it's some special stuff Badspot compiled directly into the exe? Is there anything else like that in there?

Ohey, me too. The lighting is reddish but Mission Editor shows the normal bluish lighting. Sneaky Baddy!

-snip-

Mission Editor does show it as normal... I was pretty sure it wasn't the lighting. 1: Your player usually tints severely at any oddity in lighting, and setting my player to white, it looked bluish as normal. 2: There's normal sections of terrain. It only seems to be effecting the white texture. You're sure?

well its 11/12/11 so can this be fixed its really annoying
