This makes me want to walk right into the Congress house and ask what is going through their mind.
Freedom of Speech is what they are breaking, we have the right to post and say what we want on the internet as long as its not terrorist related or wikilinks and junk. Facebook, Tumblr, even Blockland?
As long as we don't go posting hate about the government they should see this forum as a schoolfull of kids.

until they look and see these kids are mentally handicapped and stupid to the bone :D
calm down people, it wont pass
But yeah, they said they were going to pass a bill that will disallow you to post anything about video games, music, entertainment ect. unless said so by the owner of the source. that I never seen get anywhere near passing.
This is probably a scare joke or stupids trying to run the country.

Did you know that Congress' approval rating is at 9%?

This is described by some press members as "below Communism".

I love how idiots panic far before it's necessary.

The government doesn't want to piss off big corporations like google.

Yeah.
Google probably owns most of their shares.

Hell, Google probably owns most of everything that has shares

TODAYS THE DAY.

GOTTA HURRRRY

For me its the 17th... IT HAPPENED.

blf if anything has the highest chances of staying up because of rules against piracy and that full ogg loop rule thing.

thats loving bullstuff.
damn liberals.
Anywayyyyy. so wat...
I really not angry... yet.

Also, the companies supporting this are film and music.
Film probably doesn't lose much revenue from pirating and musicians are still filthy rich from concerts.

A texas conservative republican proposed the bill

There's a good South Park episode about pirating music and how the industry can stop being a whiny bitch

Is there a given time when the hearing begins (unless it already has began/ended), and is there any way to watch it?

If you've been to 4chan lately at all they have pirating pages.
they should just shut down 4chan.

some random guy: hey bro I just stole your music

music producer: DHFJAFDKL YOU WILL PAY THE 99 CENTS YOU SON OF A BITCH

some other random builder person: where did you want your bigger money safe again?

music producer: oh yeah right over there in between the bowling alley and movie theater, watch out for the 100 foot tall ice sculpture of me though.

I voted against this, the internet is a place to be free.
