Eventually, we should have a bar-all on puns here. However catchy they may be, they are still useless fluff and are cluttering up topics. Then again, it is critical for proper furnishing of a topic for there to be a few hearty howler puns, bird-brained as they might be.
Maybe I should stop using my [b][/b] guns and take out the pellets.

Vallister and Isaac
two mock dota-esque heroes I made up during my character development classes

guess I’ll try to actually DEVELOP THEM A BIT

Lore text: The youngest brothers from a long distant family of nobles, the older Vallister, with an insatiable taste for blood and the younger Isaac, a reclusive fighter lacking in spirit. Both cursed to bare identical helmets after getting involved with family affairs. Cast out from their torn clan the two now search to relieve them of their burden, hoping they will one day show their faces to their family once again.

VALLISTER the blood letter - Support - Ganker

1 - Leech Life
(Active) Target unit
Steals a % of health from the target to heal player

2 - Life Leak
(Passive)
All life leeched additionally heals surrounding team mates within a radius of up to 100 units

3 -  Blood Lock
(Active) Target Unit, Channel spell
Keeps target stunned for up to 7 seconds

4 - Laceration
(Active) Target Unit, Nuke
Deals damage relative to the ammount of enemy’s missing mana and slows target, half % of the damage dealt heals player/surrounding teammates

ISAAC the brawler - Nuker - Ganker

1 - Adrenaline Rush
(Active)
Temporarily boosts player movement and attack speed, at it’s highest level effects surrounding teammates

2 - Back Lash
(Passive)
Damage is increased based on % of missing health

3 - Sucker Punch
(Passive) Mini-stun
Chance of attacks stunning enemy for 0.5 seconds

4 - Animosity
(Active) Target Unit
Deals total amount of damage based on players missing health, levels decrease cool down time

these are probably really stuffty skills



i would like to see a game where players gain new skills by combining basic ones while using them.
players gets basic skills, say, telekinesis and fire.
lights breakable object on fire.
throw breakable object at group.
breakable object explodes, setting the group on fire.
aka fireball spell.

Ya the spells you set up are kind of odd, for at least the blood mage.

Stealing health is a good mechanic, the % will scale great into late game

The second is a passive that supports the first spell, but nothing else (This could be changed, I thought of maybe an active that switches passives) For example:

2- Life Pulse / Life Leak

(Active Passive, Activate to switch)

Life Pulse -Heals all players in a 100/200/300/400 radius when dealing damage with Life leach. (When activated 15/20/25/35 % boost to next life leach heal)

To make toggling something interesting you could have an active like: When the passive is switched Life leach gets a bonus to the aoe heal or a damage bonus.

Life Leak - Life leech also burns mana % (Double % mana burn when first toggled to) In addition, adds a debuff that converts 5/10/15/20% of incoming damage into mana damage. (Not mana burn, it would only damage mana)


Blood lock- Keep the same. Maybe add a slow that occurs after channeling is ended; depending on how long they were stun locked.


Laceration- Affected by Life Leak/ Life Pulse. Keep the same otherwise.


I like the idea, it just feels weird when none of his other skills damage mana, or drain mana besides what is essentially his ult.

Just something I came up with in 10 minutes.

The fighter could use a bit of work as well, but he is good enough for now. He lacks an active character role other than beating stuff to death with auto attacks.
