[snip] GOOD LUCK and thank you. [snip]

Out of curiosity, is there any grammar rules that would state it should be "Thank you and good luck" instead of "Good luck and thank you"?

^_^

not that I know of, but "Thank you and good luck." does sound better.

No, but your question should have been worded as follows:

Although, there should really have been a comma after "Good luck," as in, "Good luck, and thank you."

The statement 'grammar national socialist' is grammatically incorrect. The correct term would be 'grammatically correct national socialist'.

Topic title should be "Grammar national socialists", not "Grammar national socialist's." You wouldn't say "Grammar national socialist is, I call you to my service!" Also, Lizzy is right, so the title really should be "Grammatically Correct national socialists, I call you to my service!"

Back on topic, the sentence in question should be written "Thank you, and good luck", but it could also be written as "Good luck, and thank you." Both ways are correct.
In before someone points out a grammar mistake in this post I didn't notice. :s

I think the second one sounds better.

Wrong, they are not national socialists who are grammatically correct, they are national socialists of grammar.

I wouldn't say that individuals who dislike grammatical errors are that critical, though. Out of all the so called, "Grammar national socialists" I have met, I have never seen one of them try to wipe out the, "inferior grammatically incorrect" people that they have been around.
