Author Topic: My mother wants to manage my time  (Read 796 times)

Its pissing me off, she could just say something to me and fix it. But nope, she's going to put time restrictions on my computer limiting my loving flexibility.

yeah it's about that time

I see three plausible choices:

File an appeal and prepare a deposition. If all else fails, you can try to petition to have her removed from office.

Or you could go along with it for awhile until she grows tired of constant monitoring or until you gain enough trust to ask for more flexible time constraints. If you are reasonable and patient, chances are she'll realize you don't need the limits and that you can manage your time well on your own, thus affirming her parenting abilities and enabling you scheduling abilities.

Or you can complain to her about it until she makes even more limitations.

:o

when my parents threaten me with time restrictions on my computer

i laugh at them knowing they have no idea how to put them on
and they know this too

Is this everyone's solution to everything universally possible?

My dad tried that throughout my entire life on the computer. Now I'm on it quite a bit, and we've reached a compromise through years of experience. I get the awesome grades I've had throughout my life, do good in life in general, and I get the beauty of the internet and my computer.

I love him. :D

Then manage you time, whiney.
