the way you say it, people must slam into every car they see, even when not texting, occupying one or both hands. My point also lies not in benefits, but proof. There is almost no way to prove anything on the internet. Please stop changing the subject, as that would be just wonderful.

How do you benefit from telling us that you saw a kid hit by a truck? My thread was there to ask a question: how to get people to stop giving me stuff. Your thread was not made for any perceivable purpose except fabrication. My question required such backstory to explain, otherwise I wouldn't have told it.

well for my journalism class I had to write something about tragedies, and i wanted to see how it would roll with a public audience.

also your story was 100% for attention

From an outside viewpoint, OP and rockslide are both colossal handicaps for making up bullstuff stories.
Rockslide for trying to sound like a badass for doing something absolutely idiotic, and Feep for I don't even know why the forget he made that up in the first place.

Think what you want, I can't control that. All I ask of you is don't make threads calling me out.

I also should stop trying to defend my story. I actually had to take a course in realistic fiction, and I tried to see if I could apply my writing skills and see if I could write something believable. It is based on my friend and I messing around with my Mosin when it discharged and blew a hole in the bill of his hat. The character of the bike thief is real, and he was never caught. I now know not to pursue a career as an author, because I'm a pretty stuffty one at that. I hope this post was informative enough.

In most cases, here's nothing that can be done to prove the occurrence of actual events on the Internet, especially if they happened rather quickly. I could say something right now which could be true or false, and you'll just have to take my word for it.
