Author Topic: Who can claim ownership of the moon?  (Read 1369 times)

What if someone ignore international law then claim it.
ok im ignoring the law so i own the moon now
if you land on the moon you owe me $20 fee yay monopoly!

also since im already ignoring laws i might as well ignore the laws against child prostitute slaves and physics

I think no one should own the moon.
In some thousands of years, Jupiter will have stolen it anyway.

national socialists can claim ownership of the moon

There's a Popular Science article on this but I'm a lazy bitch and on my 3DS

No nation can own a piece of the moon atm according to the Outer Space Treaty, but corporations and individuals can

Without a lunar governing body, though...

Reading through this thread gave me a headache.

I understand what they talk about. If you are rich person, you can own it or USA would claim it before too late. Once you own it then what you want ever with your own moon and make profits with mine moon.

This is why I ignore most of what you say, and join your topics JUST for the comments other leave about what you say.

some spanish bitch claimed ownership of the sun awhile back, and wants to charge everyone for using it

Now the space treaty act says you can't claim ownership of the moon. This does not mention planets.

China could claim Mars and then Mars will be named china and the entire planet will be full of chinese people.

Owning the moon would stir up as much stuff as the lady who claimed to own the sun, only instead of lawsuits for skin cancer, it'd be something along the lines of lawsuits for drowning in high tide.

The moon should be its own nation with its own set of laws.
