Blockland for Mac is sucking

Goddamnit. I have RTB disabled and I get these problems:

1. Sometimes key doesn't validate or goes in offline mode after loading Blockland
2. If key has validated before requesting server list, the server list won't load
3. Name changing is impossible
4. If you have a chat message being written when it finishes downloading file manifest, Blockland crashes

Really, fix it. If you're going to tell me "Get a PC", no, I am not going to. If you will not fix this, you've got to remove the Mac download and refund everyone who bought it with a Mac for this game not being functional as it used to be.

I'll want a refund.

This is not a problem with Blockland; this is a problem with Torque itself on Macintosh computers.
In fact, Ephialtes replied to one of your topics about this. Perhaps you should reply to it...

JPSC can you post your console.log for the purposes of me seeing exactly what add-ons you've got installed?

On my lengthy travels of getting RTB to even work at all on Mac (arguably it still doesn't in some cases) it appears as though there's some engine limit in OSX for net objects which totally forgets up once you go beyond it. A default install of RTB4 + BL will *just* work - if you happen to have any other add-on that uses net objects (even for a simple purpose, like VCE downloads it's manual using a net object) then everything blows the forget up and nothing works.

I agree as nice as the interface and other things about a mac I also have huge issues on my mac with the new update. so im just gonna live with it till the next update, in which im hoping Badspot will have fixed most issues.

If you will not fix this, you've got to remove the Mac download and refund everyone who bought it with a Mac for this game not being functional as it used to be. The game is fully functional for me, and most of the rest of the players that have the game on Mac. Besides, Badspot said "You signed on for this bullstuff when you bought a Macintosh." This is like when you asked for an Asain language font support, just because you and a friend wanted to talk in it. He's not going to do it unless a significant portion of the community needs it.

Blockland (with no non default add ons at least) is fully functional for a Mac (unless you got a really old junky one) and Badspot is not responsible for people making add ons that mess up Blockland.

Yeah, yeah. It's like buying a product then knowing the box is empty. You paid for it, no refunds.

If he wants to sell the game for mac, it must work. It also must work with add-ons; because that's what makes Blockland fun to play.

Delete your Blockland directory and run the launcher again.
If this does not work, it is a problem with your computer because you probably forgeted up somewhere.
