Author Topic: I'm looking for a decent video streaming service.  (Read 862 times)

I tried livestream for video streaming and the entire stuff is just lagging horribly I had less than 30 frames per second.

My internet is running at 144mpbs, steam is in offline mode, no firewall on, nothing running in the background and Half-Life 2 was running at the lowest settings possible and livestream was still a lagging piece of stuff. Does anyone know of a decent service?

Are you willing to pay for it or are you only looking for one for free?

what recording software were you using?

I only plan on using a free service.

I tried procastor and then I tried manycams with the same problems.

some subscription ones are amazing. ive used em before

Youtube live(note to use that you need to have to be a partner or something)

FYI, your computer sucks, so any kind of recording won't be smooth.

Is this good?

And yes, this.  I remember your specs, they were awful.  30 FPS is not good for streams, you want maybe a solid steady 60.

In the opinion of myself and many other gameplay livestreamers, it is, yes.

If you're streaming games, twitch.tv is a great site. It's been very stable for my usage and it has a great community. It's basically a branch off of justin.tv which is a general streaming site.

What about getting a streaming service to work while I am playing a console game? My ps3 shares the same screen as my PC, would capturing the desktop work when I switch to console?

... No..
Only if your ps3 somehow ran through the computer to the screen
