Author Topic: Can't Think of an Argumentative Topic  (Read 1004 times)

hello all
I need to choose and research a topic for Monday. The topic has to be persuasive (I have to persuade something in it). I've been searching for a week straight now and nothing sparks my interest. It has to be something not overly used though (e.g the death penalty, smoking).

Please help me! :C

Damn, I'm having the exact same problem.

How about you do a persuasive essay on some conflict going on there in England?

yaknow anything about Alberta's oil sands?
Argue against all the stupid people who want them closed and think the companies aren't doing anything to reclaim the land.

How about how our current form of voting in America does not allow for more than a two party system.

Persuade your teacher that an essay on persuading him is a good idea.

Sure then you go like Canada and suddenly the "Bloc Texacois" or something forms that's desperate to turn their state into a new country :P

I live in Scotland. :c
Doesn't mean I can't do something going on in England, but you know.

Blather about the occupy protest things.

How about Proving that the adversarial court system is better fit to try and convict criminals than the inquisitive court system. (Or the other way around)

I have to do a talk AND an essay on it.
I don't want to have to explain it to all my classmates either. :c
