You gotta export it in Blender though, so either way you are getting Blender.

A lot of people thing sketchup is bad for some reason, but too bad for them because it's the easiet & most effective modeling program lol.

Thing is, I can actually agree with extrude on this one. I've used it before, and it's quite nice, to an extent.
The only reasons I stick with blender is because it has waay more features than sketchup, and it's faster to export stuff.
Sorry doode.

note-I still have it, I might as well see what I can do with it for once.

Yeah! He uses it because models are easier to extrude.

I went from Blender -> MilkShape 3D -> 3ds Max.

Really you should just use what's most comfortable to you. I suppose if you can get use to Blenders annoying GUI that would be your best bet.

Blender is very very powerful. I highly recommend you take the time to learn it.

That's only a matter of opinion. Blender's GUI is well laid out in my opinion. Now if you are talking about the 2.49 version that nobody uses except for exporting, then yes.

He is asking for an opinion. What else do you expect?

An unbiased opinion

Unbiased opinion? That's stupid. An unbiased opinion is absolutely worthless.

I wasn't thinking when I wrote that. Sorry

Use 3ds Max its easy to learn and one of the best modelling programs around.
You can get a free trial of it "30 Days".
Else it costs 3500$ :P

You can get a student license to it for free if you have a .edu email. 3Ds Max is licensed to me until 2015
