Big Brother's server - Q:How should votekick be used?

Except that it only happened at least four times, and not in a row either. Unless it was one guy constantly spawnkilling (vampil only did it twice, and stopped when I asked him to), anyone who would have actually been doing something wrong and doing what you exaggerated, they would have been kicked and or banned.¹


You kept trying to enforce 'no spawnkilling' as a rule, whilst other people (whom I admit the majority of were trying to or have been spawnkilling) disagreed with you. It may be to my faulty memory, but I do recall you throwing what appeared to be a tantrum when people disagreed.

Or was that Klarck that was making such a big deal out of it?²

Please understand that I'm very, very bad at moderating and the reason I didn't want to be an admin in the first place is because the chat goes too fast to be able to keep up with what's going on while trying to actually play at the server.

Back when I could host, I found it easiest to just sit back, leave the minigame, and not actually play the game. Just enhance the server, watch for imbeciles, and chill.

Made it very easy.

Allow me to check my list.
Q:Should votekick be used only for enforcing the rules, or should it also be used for keeping the server free of people who ruin the game for other people?
Q:Was Ikes final 40 minute ban just?
Q:Should spawnkilling be allowed in this kind of gamemode, or even in any kind of game?

That leaves two good questions people, can we still keep discussing?
In case it wasn't obvious, I didn't make this so that I can bitch at/about Ike, I made it to discuss the questions.

2) Depends on how the builder set up the spawn. In this game called Fat Princess, Spawn killing is allowed, and isn't all that annoying.

If there is random spawns out in the wide open, I'd allow spawn killing.

If there is one (such as in a TDM in one base) I'd disallow or make it harder to do it and allow it.

Opinions if you like, try not to flame.

Look it up, it's a PSN exclusive game. Quite fun actually.

It's a TDM game mixed up to be mideival, also comes with different gamemodes.

I'm making some modifications. The boss spawns will now randomize, so if you manage to spawnkill, well-loving-done.
