Wizzeh I thought you said you were gonna STOP commenting on this thread or "debate" on how you refer it.

Belief that there is nothing
or the lack of a belief in anything

No matter how you look at it, it ends up being the same thing.
ok then, explain how your beliefs make any more sense

There is a difference,

"God is not real. Earth and humans were created by nothing!"

Athist
"I don't think god is real. I just don't understand if I can't see him or any proof of him."
The second is a little more agnostic than atheist, agnostics say their might be, there might not be. they can lean one way or another, but it's still agnosticism.

It's not the same thing. Here's an example. Babies are Atheists because they do not believe in god. They lack a belief. You can't say they believe there are no gods because they are unaware of the concept of gods.
I don't think babies are considered atheists... they barley started thinking, they can't be held accountable for anything.

God made everything, even science. And Time. Since he made science he can freely interfere all he wants, making miracles. Since he created Time, it does not apply to him. Therefore he needs no beginning, and no creator. Makes more sense to me than an explosion from nowhere.

if anything, that makes less sense than "everything came from nothing"

But they lack a belief. What else would you call them? Either way, the same thing could be said about an adult that has never heard about the concept of gods. The would be Atheists.

how so?

I would call them babies.  :cookieMonster:  They don't have any views whatsoever, they're still learning how to talk for petes sake

And yes, the second is true. If you don't know what a God is, obviously you don't believe in it, and are an atheist, not arguing about that.

o_o?

If you concede that that would make them Atheists, how is 'belief that there is no god' the same thing? You can't say they believe that no gods exists if they are unaware of them.

I believe that there is no flying purple peanut of zazamaroon.
I never heard of such a thing, if I were randomly asked if I believe in it, I would say no, because I have no idea what it is. Same concept with people that never heard of God.

I'm religious. This guy has a good point. Who is he?

A magician, I think he was on extreme home makeover or something once, lol

As soon as the idea of a 'flying purple peanut of zazamaroon' is brought up, you form an opinion.

You can't say you don't believe in that which you don't know about, and you can't say you believe doesn't exist that which you are unaware of.

how so?
Because the whole thing is so damn specific. It is just as valid as any other creation story that can be thought up. What makes it the true one?
I choose to not really think about the whole "where did we come from" question because I know it can't be answered. That's the whole idea.

Why can't all atheists be like this?
