Author Topic: Little things that people do that make it seem like the community isn't as bad.  (Read 3122 times)

Sorry to say but it's not.

Another really good example of one of those rare times where the community acts humane and sensitive was the thread, "Burp! Happenings and Banter" and everybody preached that after that day suddenly the attitude on the forums would take a turn, but it didn't.
What happened in that thread?
They didn't have to. There is no excuse to sigh someone you don't know up for research. None.
Did people actually sign him up for research?

OP is over-reacting. This won't change anything. Trogtor was known for being annoying before, but now he's more respected and known for this.

Signing people up for research is more of an inside joke from way back in the forum days, I don't think many people say it literally, they either say it to be in the in-crowd, or as kind of like an inb4 thing since someone always says it when someone posts an e-mail, or just to scare the person a bit. Also how he was acting justified being mean to him because even though he has autism I still am pretty sure he was trying to troll in a stupid 10 year old kind of way. I don't think autism makes you get stuck on caps or become hellbent on doing things that would annoy the community.

Here's the thread.

Yes, it does.

Just saw that lol

Do have too agree that it is skind of messed up that people sent research to his mothers email after they knew he had autism.

ctrl-f'd caps and nothing came up. Then I read it and it didn't explain why autism makes you hit the caps button.

I like how the people that are like "oh wow this is such a good deed we should all feel good" all flamed him at one point.

okay so you didn't know he's autistic but if you want change it helps to not be an starfish yourself

Really? Here are my posts. Find me flaming.

okay silly sulfate should have said "most of" instead of "all"

enjoy your shallow victory sir

I just ignored him because I thought he was a 10 year old trying to troll until this came up. I think I am the only person that actually completely ignores trolls.
