Author Topic: Any easy 3d modeling program for mac and for free and no buy and saves as .dts?  (Read 1365 times)

You need to download blender, python 2.6.1 and python 2.6.1, install both pythons, or if you just want to install one, I suggest 2.6.3 because of a possibility of the torque exporter that's already installed on blender not working.

That stuff up there is kinda hard to find, so I figured I'd get that out of the way for you.

Some resources with model making can be found in the general modification help section with topics like
-Big List of Tutorials
-General Blender Help thread
-Making Add-ons with blender(not modeling)
-[RESOURCE] ~ Torque Script; Text Editors ~ Downloads ~ Info on how to use them!
-And if you type in search, word for word without quotes, "Iban Explains It All" the first result should contain a guide on coding in the torque language.

All the stuff you need in there for add-on making can be found in there,

Also, search on google blendercookie, they have lots of great tutorials.

Blender 2.6 for modeling and Blender 2.49b for exporting to DTS.

Nothing "Saves" as .dts

You must export, and no import exists, so I recomend saving and only exporting when your done.

False. Shaper has the only DTS importer in existance, which sucks because Shaper is utterly horrible.

There are plenty of company internal DTS exporter's but that's the problem. They're company internal. You might get one if you ask someone who has one. I don't know any, but people have talked about the importers/converters existing.
