Anyone have ideas on a way to make a volcano?

For a science project that I have to do for my school, I want to make a volcano, but she said I didn't have to make it in real life. So, I'm making it in Blockland.

I know how to build it, but the eventing is the only problem.

Oh, and, it's not one of those volcanoes that erupt with huge explosions, the lava just seeps down and ash comes out. I believe that's called a stratovolcano.

So, if anyone wants to help me, I would be very thankful.

By the way, the volcano I'm doing is Stromboli.

Try making like, 2x2 baseplate cube bricks fakekill out of the volcano and fall down the volcano.

Oh, I think I know how to do this.

Make some red blocks inside the volcano and name them "lava" or something like that.

Then, event them so that when you click a button, it fakekills them with just enough force to sort of pop out of the top and roll down.

Better yet, make it so when you stand on a plate it erupts, thus allowing you to watch it erupt.
Secondly: Use relays for the lava flow down the side.
Maybe 500800-1000 milliseconds for each onRelay>fireRelay

I'm pretty much VERY advanced with events. Now, if only I could remember when we learned about the rock cycle from middle school...

Just like,

Make a button that you push

On pushing it,
Lava bricks (Red+Glow/Blink) that are invisible at the top re-appear (Dissapear 0)
Then a few more under those
Then some more
Then more until it's done.

If you want some kind of explosion-y/smoky effect, just make a gray gas/fog emmitter in the top.

so how you do it is make abunch of Grey (Rocks) and red (lava bits) cubes and have them fling into the air and then thats it
