Yeh...I'm not exactly very good at maths, especially stuff like this. If anyone knows how to solve this, please do tell me lol

We've been given an assortment of questions like these, so if these three get solved I have a few more, lol

theres a new question dhdhdf

And to clarify, yes I am asking for maths help @ the blockland forums, thanks! :D

find the angle that makes the triangle's angles add up to 180º

A right corner is 90 degrees.
A triangle's corners add up to 180 degrees.
A rectangle's corners add up to 360 degrees.
An equilateral triangle has 3 corners of 60 degrees.
In an isosceles triangle two of the corners are identical.

In the first one, there's triangle ABE. Since in total it is 180 and it has a corner with 42 and 90, the last corner has to be 180-42-90=48
Because in total E has to have 180 degrees (half a circle) and one part of it is 61, and another is 48, that leaves x=180-61-48=71

If you want me to I can solve the other ones but this should help.

So for the first one x is 71? woo, thank you :D

I'd appreciate it lots if you did the other ones too c:

I did the SUBTRACTION and ADDITION in my head so I might've messed up but yeah that's what I got.

For the second one:
Since XYZ is equilateral, all it's angles are 60 degrees. All of Z's angles have to add up to 180, so Z's angle in triangle XZW is 180-60=120. Since the angles in ZXW have to add up to 180, x=180-35-120=25

The last one:
In PQR, Q=R (because it is isosceles). And because all R's angles have to add up to 180 since it's on a straight line, R in triangle SPR is 180-69=111. Because all the angles in triangle SPR have to add up to 180, x=180-111-35=34.

B is 25*
C is 34*

EDIT:

inafterchef :c

Awesome, you got them all correct. Thank you very much! Mind helping me with the second piece?  :cookieMonster: These are angles which are parallel, this is part 1/2

This one's a little easier thankfully

first one is 54 i think

1st x=54
2nd x=113
3rd x=121
4th x=109
5th x=67
6th x=112

I don't see how you find these hard.
I did them in my head. Lol.

got 5/6 on that one, 5 was actually 47 apparently. ty anyway, doesn't bother me lol

nonetheless, moving onward to the final questions..

Woops yeah I forgeted that one up.

1st x=109 y=66
2nd x=55 y=60
3rd x=68 y=68
4th x=122 y=74

This is too easy to ask for help with. My math teacher taught me how to do these in two minutes.

But it's good that your asking for help.

So someone help him.

Unfortunately I've never been great in maths, I only partially understand this. Chefkokkie is helping me get through it though, so big thanks to him lol

Looks like a lot of it is to do with opposite angles or line of angles that cross between eachother.

Woops yeah I forgeted that one up.

1st x=109 y=66
2nd x=55 y=60
3rd x=68 y=68
4th x=122 y=74
is that going across? like 1 is the top left, 2 is the top right?
