I think he's more going for war-era coins as much of the metal content was replaced, since the US Army needed as much metal as it could get.

I have three silver spoons.  I do not know their weight, but my grandparents have told me that it is pure silver and as far as I can tell it looks like pure silver.

I've also got a silver 1979 dollar.  It's got some bitch on the front and the bald eagle on the back landing on the moon with the Earth in the background.

yeah its not necessarily about the age of coins, im wanting the currency with silver content.
dimes and quarters pre1965 have silver and are still being passed around

I have a Sterling Silver jewelry box (It was my Grandparents) that just needs some polishing and work around the hinges, and I also have a Gold Plated dining set. (several kinds of Forks, Spoons, Knives, and some of those salad tong things.

I found an old quarter from somewhere between 1916 and 1930. Dont know the exact year, cause its faded off. How much would that be? O_o
