Forums don't show notification

As of a few hours ago, I used to go on the forums and see a picture labeled "NEW!" next to a thread, and leading me to the new post, now there is none

How do I fix this?

maybe it disappeared like how avatars do that sometimes?

I assume refreshing quite often would show me if it would happen

Now theres no picture of it
