Author Topic: Keyboard Lockup - Bargain Brand Wireless Keyboard locks up/stops detecting  (Read 588 times)

When I got my new computer, I was given a bargain brand wireless keyboard. It kept loving up. Over time, it stopped. Right now, however, it keeps locking up. It simply stops detecting I'm hitting keys. I was trying to play Trifax's Minecraft Server, but Creepers would run up to me and I'd suddenly stop in place for 15 seconds while it buttraped me. I suspect it has to do with me accumulating over 2GB of RAM used with just Steam, WLM, and Minecraft open. When everything is off, I'm still at 1GB. My computer is clogged, and it's making how stuffty this keyboard is really stand out. I have 4GB of RAM, but this thing can't stand when it crosses over to the second RAM card. Could anyone help me figure out which stuff I have can be disabled to reduce the load on my computer?

It's a Jasco brand thing. ID is 98615. I found driver listings here for it: http://www.jascoproducts.com/support/software-downloads-win7.asp

aero transparency

I just tried to type a response, nothing was happening. I have to move the keyboard into an uncomfertable spot for it to pick up. It's like the stuff is lessening the signal. I switched the batteries before.

I'm only bumping this because a stuff flood has come through and I'm trying to stay above water/stuff.

Get one with a wire.
That's how real men/I roll.

The iRoll was Steve Job's failed experiment. It's how he died - he ate it.

See, the past few hours, no problems. It randomly decides to be an ass. forget you keyboard, why do you do this to me?

Im reading what you wrote over and over and its still making no sense. What do you mean by when it crosses over to the second RAM card? I'm pretty sure its just a stuffty wireless keyboard and you should invest in a stuffty wired keyboard.

It seems whenever I reach 50% RAM usage, the keyboard starts bugging the forget out. That's when it crosses over onto my second 2GB RAM card. I keep thinking it has something to do with not liking the shared RAM between them.

I have a wired keyboard and the only minor complaint I have against it is the fact it only starts working when windows loads if I turn the computer on.

Well, I need a wired one. :panda: Huh?
