If you've ever insulted Icy, you might be in there.

Unfortunately he gives himself too much unwarranted self-importance to fit everyone else in.
Sorry Colten :(

He's friends with Icy, why should he?
I don't care

I'm trying to pull out an argument here and he comes in all lovey dovey with Icygamma when he least deserves it.

Oh shut up.

He liked the book, he doesn't have to be butthurt because you are.

Good book  :cookieMonster:
Loved reading it - fascinating topic indeed.

People just band wagoning that haven't read the book, read the loving book.
It's an alright book to learn some of blockland history with clans and such and it's well written.
If Icygamma did write it himself, he should just own up.
the joke is how much of it is made up, freshly pulled from icy's own ass

I ctrl F'ed my name and found info on the stuff that happened a few months back.

All the dialog is improvised and the story isn't even correct. This book is a joke and IcyGamma is a fail writer.

WARNING:
Requires VCE 6.01 or newer to operate. Do not use the device in a laggy or slow server. Use a generous schedule setting. Do not attempt to remove cover during scan. Avoid quitting program with the D key during a scan. The scanner will refuse usage unless the ROM software is active. The MicroBlock Scanner 1.0 is designed for the default colorset, results my vary with modded colors.

NOTES:
In the unlikely event the scanner continues to scan when the ROM is closed, turn off the device and remove the ROM from the computer. Restart the computer.
In the event the scanner does not complete a full scan, you may be experiencing latency that is effecting relays in the device. You will need to address this before proceeding with a scan.

So now that you're well versed in the IcyGamma computer catalog:
Consider the fact that anyone who has played around with the wrench event system for a week or two can make any of this and that there is absolutely nothing special with what he makes.

IcyGamma has been overblowing simple little squares that barely do anything for the last three years and every single person who has praised him has fallen in the trap. Big Brother created a completely functional City RPG system using absolutely nothing but VCE and Truce created a CD-ROM that functions completely identical to one in real life and records hard data with nothing but default events.

The only reason anyone has ever taken the guy seriously is because he accompanies every single advertisement with a bunch of decent graphically designed logos, catchphrases, and buzzwords like, "A2 CPU, 200 Event harddrive" to make them seem special.

Most of this has been established by the most active posters in this thread, but I thought I'd put it all out in front of you for anyone new to see to avoid the proverbial, "Read all 30 something pages or you can't comment" restriction.

Consider this my rebuttal to the 5 page long manipulation of my dialog and context.

I don't know why people even hailed him for being revolutionary.  That's like saying Steve Jobs revolutionized all mobile phone technology by inventing a phone with only a touch screen for 90% of the user's input and a brand name.  Oh and a mobile operating system that allowed many apps to be made.

You didn't create anything creative or new.  You literally just worked around technology and threw it together and now you're calling it the next big, best thing to ever grace humanity.

Ironically, Steve Jobs had his own unwarranted self-importance too.  But he's dead anyway, so lets not digress.

You didn't create anything creative or new.  You literally just worked around technology and threw it together and now you're calling it the next big, best thing to ever grace humanity.
That's pretty much what I was trying to summarize in my gigantic post.
