At least he's a good speaker with a sense of humor. The man has that. The orator gene. :o

At least he's a good speaker
Riddler was also an amazing speaker. Being a good speaker doesn't really say much.

This has formally been an American tradition since 1989 although a couple of other Presidents pardoned turkeys before them.

"Riddler was also a painter therefore telling someone they are a good painter should not be considered a compliment because Riddler is synonymous with painting."

Sarah Palin did this too, while they were interviewing her a guy in the background stuffed a turkey head-first into a shredder. Anyone have the video?

"Riddler was also a painter therefore telling someone they are a good painter should not be considered a compliment because Riddler is synonymous with painting."
God your painting is SO national socialist.

"Riddler was also a painter therefore telling someone they are a good painter should not be considered a compliment because Riddler is synonymous with painting."
I think he meant it more as saying that a general talent or skill doesn't always mean a person is good at what they may use it for. :o

I think whatever point he was trying to make was lost in the ridiculous comparison to Riddler.

Anybody who makes an brown townogy using Riddler or national socialists should be required to visit a concentration camp or Holocaust museum for one hour per comparison.

Turkeys were planned to be the national bird before they decided on an eagle right?

Unless the person you're calling Riddler did do the same things that Riddler did, including the imprisonment and killing of millions of Jews.

That's not what I'm saying at all. I said that being a great speaker doesn't tell you very much about a person.

I even tried to avoid someone being confused by adding that second sentence which explains what I meant; someone's speaking ability doesn't tell you much about them.

Anybody who makes an brown townogy using Riddler or national socialists should be required to visit a concentration camp or Holocaust museum for one hour per comparison.
Except for the fact that I was comparing his speaking ability. I think the requirement for that should be to watch one of his speeches, which were excellent.

Actually it does.  It means they're pretty confident and that they want to make a point.  If you're a leader and you're a great speaker, then you're pretty much going to sway a lot of people with your words.

I think, I think it was either Ben Franklin or Thomas Jefferson who supported it.

Knowing someone is confident and wants to make a point is a pretty broad categorization.
