I spent so long fiddling around with it too, but I still am not entirely satisfied. Even the porta is off, and I messed around with that all through making it.

Looks great, but looks confusing, and is it free?

It's not free, but if you're getting into producing your own music then z3ta+ is great for making leads. It's a bit difficult to use but if you look up guides on how to make good leads(Or use the presets and edit them) then you can make some badass leads for any EDM genre.

EDIT:
Also remember that you don't get good overnight, don't let yourself get down and keep trying, it can take months(sometimes years) to get good at producing.

I think it looks pretty easy to use. Compared to some things, such as NI Massive (pictured below) that thing is a, haha, cakewalk!

That tends to happen when you resize a massive object to forum avatar size.
then resize it in an image editor

also katadeus, that track needs like serious heavy mastering lol

I figured you'd like this.

Time to copypasta some legs onto a hundred frames.

192, to be exact.

I believe it's about 192.

forget the legs, that avatar is pretty badass and the legs don't fit with it centered unless I make them ridiculously small.

Uploading.

Uh ok

I'd probably be best off working in FL Studio until I'm comfortable enough with the choice to buy the full version, since I'm a stingy careful moron, and then afterwards get that and maybe some other stuff as well.
And I am prepared to spend a lot of time getting good, since I've already been playing a couple of instruments consistently for 7+ years.

It's a VST, so it's something you load into FL studio much like Cytrus. And, there are alternative methods of arr, i mean, err, getting paid programs.

Too bad I'm extremely goody-goody.
I have already added a couple of things to FL so I understand the concept well enough.

Thanks for the advice though.

I resized in photoshop.
to 75x75?

why the hell did it look like that?

The legs were what looked bad, because I scaled them up and scaled the screenshot down. Scaling things up makes stuff look worse than scaling down, and no it wasn't 75x75. It was 150x150.

it was stuffty quality because it wasn't 75x75 lol
