Server Joining Problem

Whenever my friends attempt to join my server-in-progress, all their side says is "Sending Punch Packet". and on my side when they attempt, i think the console says "Posting to master server" or "Posting to RTB" or something like that (I don't remember).

Anyone know whats wrong?

Connect to IP on the join a game menu. Type in the server's IP.

So how do you find the IP of your server or someone elses? Is it just your normal local IP that you can get from whatsmyip.org?
