Author Topic: My computer can handle Skyrim...?  (Read 1212 times)

Just a quick question, Can You Run It? says that my computer can run Skyrim on high settings. I don't know if this is true. You see, this service has told me that I can run BF3 on all high settings before, and it did, but I don't know if I should trust it on Skyrim. Help?

EDIT: First. Second.

Find your dxdiag (search for it)

compare specs to optimal settings

Post entire contents of your dxdiag.
We do have a thread for little questions like this though. Yours isn't going to get any more/better help being out of the thread.

That's a lot of loving RAM.  Who the forget needs 16GB?

Your GPU is a bit weak but it should suffice.  Your processor is good.

I had $100 in birthday money, so I thought why not.

You will be able to run it, but definitely not on high. The 520 isn't really high end so you should be able to play on medium pretty solidly. You might be able to play on medium/high custom settings, but don't get your hopes up. Pretty crazy that you have 16gb of ram, though; whoever did that should of just bought 8 and spent the other $100 on a better GPU.\

EDIT: Haha.

What everyone else said, pretty much.

I feel like he posted this just to show that he has 16GB of RAM

Which isnt even something to show off, it just makes you look stupid...

Unless you're doing computer aided design.

But yeah 16GB is ridiculous for home use/game use.

It's funny, because his computer won't even touch more than 4g of it.  Ever.
