Last year I lost a lot of interest in many of the things I used to do (including Blockland) and never picked up those interests due to school starting up. Now that I'm halfway through the school year, I've recently had a lot of nostalgic moments and decided to get back into many of the things I liked to do.

So in short, what's new since last June?

I've done a bit of reading on a few forums and heard talk of different popular servers (such as Empires). Qould someone mind explaining this and any other currently popular server types?

What are some of the latest, greatest add-ons?

Phydeoux makes great add-ons. That answers one question I guess, The servers, although, are mostly bad TDMs and such. Nothing much.
And, there's a huge "war" inbetween two people, Stocking and Lord Tony.

Tons of trolls invaded the forum,
Some of them spamming,
Others preaching,
Horrible clans being made,
Good clans being made,
Boss battles,
Mini empires,
Etc.

Oh and a forum lockdown, must have keys to enter.

Mini Empires is a classic. How have you never heard of it ;o;
Boss Battles is... Well, a boss battle. It's like a # vs. 1 TDM.

Mini empires.
Build a mini nation, build a mini army.
Trade and war amongst each other.
Most are era specific ex. Medieval, modern, futuristic, tribal.
Rules are usually implemented on making an "invincibile" or overpowered nation that could destroy another with just one snap of the finger.

I guess I mean to ask, how are they actually played?

Is the mini empire some sort of RP or is it an actual scripted/evented thing?

Are the boss battles between a group of players and a CPU boss, or just another player?

Ok, I found the Slayer mod, so that clears up my boss battle question. However, I'm still wondering about mini empires.
