Author Topic: loving prank calls - How can I track Voicemail? (Previously: Fingerhut)  (Read 2994 times)

If Pizza Hut serves pizza...

Then Finger Hut must serve...

OH GOD
mmmm
yum

Fun Fact: In Germany Pizza Hut is called "Pizza Hat". This is because "hut" means hat in Germany and the Yum corporation decided not to change the name in it's German chains.

You think we'd have rich people phones?

Are you on Verizon? If so, you can just block the number through your account settings page. I think other carriers have a similar feature.

I wouldn't know how to access it.

I've been getting tons of blank voicemail, and going through them, I found one that kept clipping in sounding like a room full of people. Then there was one with a guy laughing with others saying snake. I am loving outraged this has not yet been stopped. I do not personally own the phone, so I must wait for my family to get up and help me find a way to stop this. Is there a way to track where Voicemail is coming from? There's an option for envelope information on voice messages, but that's obviously handicapped. I'm going to try to go to Verizon with my mom tomorrow to see what can be done, but right now I'm just pissed out of my loving mind that I have anything like this happening to me. It's that old "I don't care, but the fact they think I care pisses me the forget off."

Google voice will let you filter calls and figure out who keeps leaving voice messages. I don't know how well it works with landlines though, or what sort of arrangement (if any) google has with verizon. Works great with my sprint cell phone though.
