Author Topic: Why was six afraid of seven?  (Read 8316 times)

Six hasn't been the same since he left Vietnam. Every time he closes his eyes, he sees Charlie hiding in the darkness of the forest. Not that you could ever see those bastards, mind you. They were fast and they knew their way around the jungle. He remembers the looks on the boy's faces when they walked into that village and... oh Jesus. He shouldn't think about that now. Sometimes he still hears Tex's slow southern drawl. He remembers the smell of Brooklyn's cigarettes. He always had a pack of Luckys. But the boys are gone now... he knows that. It's--it's just that he forgets sometimes. And sometimes the way that seven looks at him... it makes him think. Sets him on edge. And he feels like he's back there... In the jungle... In the darkness. Seven has a hook for a hand as well, which is very scary.

Because seven raped nine! :D

because seven has an extra snake

because seven has an extra snake

>Implying extra snakees is a bad thing

*logic:*
Numbers are not entities or animate objects. Therefore, logically, numbers do not own the ability to experience feelings. Instead, they are just symbols used to recognize a certain amount of this, that, there. Six could not be afraid of seven unless they are people's names, or numbers were indeed animate. Numbers are also not organisms, so they can't be damaged or loveually harassed in any way. If seven ACTUALLY raped nine, I'd be crying my ass off right now...

Negative. Six was never afraid of seven. 67 <--Look! They go together perfectly!

*for fun:*
Six was afraid of seven because old seven walked on the roof, and impressed old nine, causing old nine to fall in love with old seven. Old six saw old seven murdering old nine, and old six came to the rescue, and told old nine to be the upside-down version of old six. But, seven was still alive, and new seven cut old six's limbs, making new six look like an upside-down head and body disconnected from its arms and legs. So now, whenever you look at new six upside down, you will find a 9, because old nine accepted old six's offer.

Because 7 is from Canada.

Dun dun dun...

*new reason*

Because 7 committed Self Delete and wanted to take 6 with him. And then 7 was resurrected as a zombie, and almost ate 6.

o
.7 <--- You'll never look at seven like 7 again... (It looks like a person.)
/\

Well, six was obviously afraid of seven because, well, let's do the math. 6*10 = 60, and 7*10 = 70, and 60*70 = 4200. Now we can do some division. 4200 / 7 = 600. Then, 600+60 = 660. Finally, 660 + (7 - 1) and we have 666. So, in conclusion, 6 is afraid of 7 because 7 is older.

Quote
It was a truly dark day for everybody involved. Six moved restlessly on his bed, breathing heavily with thousands of thoughts moving around in his mind as he heard a noise coming from the kitchen. Heavy rain pounded against the window in his bedroom, without making a noise. He lifted himself off of his almost unbearably uncomfortable bed. The floor creaked under his weight. He jogged out of his bedroom towards his small kitchen, only to see scattered belongings and filthy shattered plates on the floor, piled on top of eachother. There was a little yellow note attached to the fridge. Six gingerly approached the note, which seemed almost miles away. Suddenly his heart was beating faster. He lunged his hand forward and read the note out loud.

"Get ready for the count down."

The message was not written in pen - nor in pencil. The message was written in blood. Dark red blood. It leaked onto Six's hand as he tore it in half and ran outside. The rain had stopped, but the atmosphere was still gloomy. Six jogged towards his favourite bar in dark blue jeans and a yellow sweatshirt - just as he'd been wearing before he began laying on his bed. As he approached his favourite bar, he came close to a dark alley. He glanced at it quickly, then ran forward with his head down. He pushed his way past a crowd of men and women and ran into the bar.

"You seem tense, Six. Something the matter?" The bartender asked.

"Yeh. A number of things." Six replied, sitting on a light red stool near a shady looking Three.

"Not to worry. Number Four is here to solve all of your problems," the bartender stated with a grin on his face.

"I woke up with my kitchen vandalized. I was too scared to check the rest of the house, but I found a note that mentioned a countdown."

The bar fell silent and people seemed to have disbanded. A group of men left the bar, after dropping beer cans onto the ground. The bartender looked at his feet. He said nothing for what had seemed to be a lifetime for Six.

"It would be best if you left, Six." The bartender said as he sat down.

Six left the bar, feeling hopelessly confused. He approached the same alley and ducked his head down and ran forward - although he ran a bit faster than when he was going towards the bar. He didn't know where he was going and he didn't know why any of this was happening. The streets were now abandoned as the shady gentlemen from the bar appeared and tapped Six on the shoulder. He began whispering into Sixes ear.

"Do you want to know what the count down represents?"

"Ofcourse I do. I want to know why all of this is suddenly happening. I don't know why I don't call the police or search for evidence myself," Six replied.

"The countdown is the beginning of the end. The story goes that a lonely Seven wondered this very street holding a sharp knife in his waistcoat pocket. The same day, he killed two Nines. If you are cursed with the countdown, the same man will hunt you down. Nobody knows why or how he finds you."

Six started to panic, desperately looking for a way out of this seemingly instant situation. "How do I stop it from happening?!" Six exclaimed.

"You don't."

And with that, the gentlemen stopped moving and experienced a sharp pain in his chest. He cried in agony. Blood ran slowly from his mouth as he dropped to the ground. Seven appeared from behind the man and held the knife up towards the sky. Six did not run. Six stood still. Seven lunged the knife forward, piercing his neck with ease. His vision blurred as he fell to the ground, hearing faint laughter until he bled to death.

And this is why Six is afraid of Seven.

7 denotes into a floating point of 3.5 which isn't supported by x86 processors as the main form of data value within the registers and other components while 6 can be divided into a whole integer which works and is compatible.
