The bellow is a bit irrelevant to those who didn't know me, or more relevant to admins on the server

So I'm back now, formerly known as ShadowZero/NeutralZero/ZeroV2, and basically in
a nutshell I heard Blockland recently got more players due to the steam sale, so I thought pecons server could need a extra hand administrating.

Basically I'm going to try and help out, as long as Jetz or Pecon haven't de-admined my current in use BLID....11837

I will be back at the server helping out again soon if everything goes well, I wasn't playing
For a while because it felt empty not being able to post about things on the forum, making it harder
to communicate and talk about the server, but I'm back now and can't wait to help out at the server again!

I already heard about RTB...must be some rough times right now.

Welcome back. We haven't really kept any consistent policy about removing inactive admins, so we haven't actually removed anyone from the admin list in a very long time. I'm pretty sure you're still an admin.

The RTB situation is pretty old now, I'm pretty sure everyone's gotten over it.

BAM is dead. It never really got moving anywhere. Don't get your hopes up, there are no RTB replacements currently in progress. Nobody wants to redo all of that, might have been nice if Ephi at least released some of the RTB server source code.

Welcome back. A lot of admins are playing new steam games it seems so it's usually only 2 or 3 admins on with 20 players.

A few weeks ago it was 6 admins with 10 players.

BAM is dead. It never really got moving anywhere. Don't get your hopes up, there are no RTB replacements currently in progress. Nobody wants to redo all of that, might have been nice if Ephi at least released some of the RTB server source code.

Well, I guess its back to the old days without RTB, someone should at least make a way to keep addons up to date.

The addon section is hard to navigate through without sections for addon types, so if something gets back about 4 pages, you rarely see it, and the fact threads can get too old doesn't help.

i run linux servers with ease...but my router had a loving annoying thing where (only at night!) the connection kept restarting. might be a bad cord somewhere, that's what it was for us.
 

but in all honesty if the host uses a decent linux distro for their server (and it's set up correctly) you could run it with no problems at all

strange how this keeps happening, though.

I had to fix the environment settings the other day when it crashed, however that doesn't help all the time, sometimes events break and I'm the only one around and I can't do much considering I don't have build trust.

Its really crippling me as an admin when some people ask me to fix things like broken class buttons and me not
being able to do it.

Anyways will try to be online tonight, I have a sort of job thing to do irl, and it involves fixing a laptop...Laptops are the worst to repair...I prefer repairing desktops.
