Author Topic: Boss Battles - Six years...  (Read 2033205 times)

Whoo! It's like Christmas came early this year!

The Pyro has been buffed. The flamethrower does three times the damage it did before.
now you can actually use it against Rotondo!

I still think Rotondo should catch on fire.

Would probably have to re-write the script of the flamethrower a bit since it doesn't use the default burn functions.

That would be cool, though.

Default burn function is just a particle effect.

It's hard to picture anyone not choosing pyro if that were the case.

yes, but you have to get quite close to use the flamethrower, and rotondo can one-hit the pyro.
i could see it's use en mass, but your better off using a speed class.

You would never be able to get enough people to go pyro in one round. People won't listen to you.

Is the shockwave to OP for player use?

because having the shockwave in the shop for, like, 700 points might be feasible, considering it's usefullness in knocking bosses back. It would be especialy good against Badpost, Rotondo, Penthiales(however you spell it).

It's simpler to use the rocket launcher. The slick wave would be interesting with the scout since they can double-jump making them harder to kill dragging on the game.

As far as I have been around, the current Halo RL is basically a rocket form of shockwave. Rubby or whoever his name is proves that. I played as a boss today and his pro RL skills kept me from killing anyone.

Just providing it as a weapon will make things practically impossible for certain bosses like Rotondo or Samus which rely on being able to walk on the ground. (Samus included due to a low-damage gun and the need to be able to bulletspam effectively)

I'm gonna call you pecan because that's what my iPod changes Pecon to.

Anyways, Pecan7.. We need a boss that actually has a gun. Not like, mech/powerbeam, like an actual FIREARM.

Bushido gets T+T. I like it.

Whenever Pecon joins he just harasses everyone until they all leave lol. I joined when there was 13 people and he kept changing the timescale and spam stunning people and it dropped down to 4 people real quick.

having a hard time believing that
at least, the "every time" part
