Any one else ever get a terrible pain in your finger, randomly?

Nerves are designed to relay information.
Like if that water is hot or if someones just chopped your arm off with a rusty axe.
You've probably shifted the sensor where it's detecting pain, like the bone in your finger crushing it or something.
