This is really strange, some people are saying it's a hard-coded thing but to me it just looks like something is wrong.

This is definitely just a small graphical hiccup... nothing deep within the source code of Blockland. I've had a look at the texture files that make up the Slopes... and I might try to convert them to a different format to see how that turns out.

That won't work because Blockland overwrites the default addons on start.

The terrain lighting for the Slopes seems to be inversed, as when I turn the sun red, the map appears blue.
Strange, it may just be something wrong with torque, or something on Badspot's fault with the accidental breaking of vertex lighting.

That is very strange... so you believe vertex lighting is what's at fault?

heedi probably closed his winterTDM because of the slopes problem and moved on to old buildland4 tdm :o

On the Mac, you'll want to search "System Profiler" in the upper right hand corner... and a lot of different specs are displayed, just go to the graphics section.
