Okay, I think I'm going to get this. I read the reviews and stuff. Look's good. Should I?

EDIT: will it work on any drawing program? Such as GIMP 2, Paint tool SAI, and MyPaint? And is it compatible with Windows 7?

my bamboo pen and touch tablet is pretty good when my sister doesn't put several pounds of books on top of it
it was $80 from best buy

the just pen tablet is cheaper though, i saw it for $60 :o

I might be able to get a new one at best buy. I have about 60-70 bucks left on my gift card that my relative got me on my birthday.

Looks good, I'll do a bit of looking into it.

EDIT: Sounds good as long as you have enough desk space for it, apparently it's flimsy.

Thanks.

I think thats a mouse
no, it's a tablet
but it's just touch, no pen
so basically it's a big trackpad
Bamboo Pen and Touch is better, but if you can't pay that much then just a Bamboo Pen would be fine

I've always wondered how tablets work. Is there an image on the pad or are you just guessing where to draw?

Be sure to read the reviews and user responses thoroughly. Don't compromise quality for price, I've heard people do this and get disappointed time and time again when it comes to graphics tablets. Find some middle ground.

depends
if you get one of the Cintiq tablets, they show the screen on the tablet
the Bamboo tablets have surface areas that are proportional to the screen
so putting the pen in one corner of the tablet will put the cursor in the respective corner of your screen
