Why is everyone on the GTS a stuffgobbler who can't not want a legendary for a level loving ONE CHIMCHAR

There's an option to turn off people who want special Pokémon. But then most turn into wanting something from a "legendary" trio because those aren't special apparently. Sometimes you can find a trade that's not a total scam though.

Edit: As I typed that while breeding I accidentally went into grass and found my first shiny..shiny Flabebe....not too excited but it's a shiny I suppose.

I actually can't tell that it's shiny, I think literally one part on it is grey instead of green. (Still has a star so I know for a fact it is a shiny but you wouldn't be able to tell)

There's a difference between grey and light brown, Flabebe literally has one part of it's body go from green to grey and it's the part being covered by a flower.



That part turns grey. It took me a while with a side by side comparison to actually tell the difference because on top of this, it's extremely small.

Although, when I was going through GTS in Pokemon Diamond, I found a shiny Deoxys that was a legit trade.  I got it...problem is that the cartridge I have is...forgeted, but I still have the save data...or my friend does.  I just need to copy it...and then I can see if I still have 'em.

It's safe to say if you played HGSS or just GS then you at least have owned a red Gyarados c:
I think my first shiny I got besides that was I think a shiny Charmander I bred from FireRed I think it had decent IVs it's somewhere on my Pearl and I should move it to my White.
or maybe i was too stupid to know what shinies were as a kid
