its special attack gets really big and i think it's the biggest stat possible

a slow glass cannon is a terrible idea

Clamperl's terrible overall stats aren't to be considered viable, not to mention the bad move pool.
Either way the Sp.Attack on a Gorebyss or Huntail would easily surpass Clamperl with a DeepSeaTooth.

I tried using a clamperl once in NU and it was terrible. It needs so much Baton Pass support it's not even funny.
