ontopic: i used that magmortar in battle, when it took a special attack, it didn't take it too well. took over half damage, even though i super trained it's special defense to the max.

special defense is 149 and it's level 51.

now that i think about it, i think magmortar took the hit pretty well for a super effective move

It took a super effective move and brought down to half health.

i was just wondering how good the special defense was- it was duckface's first battle anyway
i did end up screwing over my friend without having anyone of my pokemon ko'd
