Also basically every route one normal type can learn those at some point. Raticate's not special enough to be given a non-stab special niche. There are not enough acsessible special normal moves to justify that. It would be nice though, if not only so Aurorus wouldn't suck.

SH SH SHH IXNAY ON THE SPECIAL SAY
he's coming into the room--

oh you's in trouble now

b-but yeah although raticate isn't the best option for mega evolutions i still would feel more edified if they had a normal type of some sort to be a mega evolution other than kangaskhan, mainly because it'd be interesting to see a lot of people jump to train uhh iunno
watchog?

Exploud is probably my favorite normal type but a mega evolution seems like it'd be really OP. Especially with Boomburst.

I began White with Tepig. Did I forget up? Although, it is highly probable that I will abandon Tepig and continue the game with Growlithe that I just caught.

Lol you can't forget up by picking a starter. The games are far too easy for that.

I meant to ask if I picked a bad starter.

i was thinking of a raticate one but it was more like a normal/ghost type because at the time i was thinking of gary
why doesn't this exist yet? they seemed so eager adding more to the ghost type family but no normal ghost? it could be an opossum since they're known to play dead and that would explain it's normal typing

i believe that may just be a female basculin, iirc i saw a few of those and none of them glittered like shiny pokemon

no it has a star

that means it's shiny

Male and female basculin are identical. The difference you are thinking of is their red and blue forms, which affect their ability.

some "pokemon pro" friend of a friend had only two pokeman in his party.

is there some (dis)advantage to having a smaller party?

The disadvantage is that you have less backups incase one of them faints.

If he wasn't carrying eggs or anything, there's questions to be asked.
Is he doing some sort of nuzlocke?
