He tends to be an idiot, so those reactions are easily justified.

I wasn't joking. The commercial said something about "a new world to explore" or something like that. Remaking an old one wouldn't be new.
And can someone give me a link to where it actually said it would be in hoenn?

If/when the new games are confirmed to have Battle Frontier with XY's graphics and mechanics, I'll get hyped.

Until them I'm not really feeling it.

They should rework battle palace, it's pretty funky.

During the Investor Briefing today, Satoru Iwata confirmed that Pokémon Omega Ruby & Pokémon Alpha Sapphire are full-remakes of the 2002 releases, Pokémon Ruby & Sapphire.

changing a 2d world into a 3d world is practically a new world~

Emerald's postgame is still my favorite, so I really hope they include it and I get to play through it with 6th gen stuff.

Here's a little story about me that happened about 15 minutes ago
>pick up my copy of heart gold for like the first time in a year or something
>pop it into my 3ds
>load my save file
>run around in goldenrod city for a bit, because that's where i last saved.
>run down to route 34, and into a bush on accident
>oh boy an encounter on the first bush
>IT'S A loving RAIKOU OH MY GOD
>Send out my level 14 growlithe to fight this level 40 something raikou. don't ask because i don't know why it was in first slot.
>use fire blast, because it's the best move i have for him.
>does like a twentieth of his health bar in damage
>raikou runs away

There is literally nothing out of the ordinary about any of this

Really?

this proves you haven't played it in a while because that is basic knowledge

Those side-legendaries pop up in random places. Find out where the next encounter will be with your pokedex and then go there. Don't use fly though, because that will make raikou go to somewhere else random.

It's a whole game of tracking the legendary pokemon all over the region and such.

Any damage you do to it will be there in your next encounter. It will always run away on it's turn. Eventually it's health will be low enough for you to catch it. Don't faint it though, because then it will be gone forever.
