Author Topic: Bara needs to learn how to fight better. All done!  (Read 5503 times)

EVeryones acting like Bara is some professional wrestling match, no he's in a fist-fight, in an enclosed area where you don't just grab the other guy and magically get him into a chokehold and win the fight.. Granted, most of the ideas would work if it was a wrestling match with rules and stuff, but its not.

ALthough some people have given some good ideas, but the best would be to charge back at him as soon as he stands up, that way you can catch him off balance, and he might be surprised. If you find yourself in a position where you can't run back however, I would suggest blocking/deflecting his first punch then hitting him twice in the stomach or face. Also try yelling a lot, depending on his personality it can work.

It doesn't matter, if you can pay attention to where your opponent is attacking, you can win.

START THROWING PUNCHES AS FAST AS YOU CAN IN HIS GENERAL DIRECTION!!
Works every time. B)

Yeah, on the Wii.

Good luck, when he comes at you either sidestep or punch/kick first while he's still moving

Bara needs to learn conflict resolution. There is no need to fight in this situation, I guarantee you that. :c
Yay, Magick's wisdom wandered onto this thread :D

ITT: quite possibly a bunch of people who think they know how to fight.

But if you do, more power to yah.

I took martial arts for a year or so until I had to quit because it was getting too expensive for my parents :c tae kwon do, to be specific. I remember the first time I was in a tournament and got kicked in the stomach. my sparring partner wasn't too happy that I threw up all over her uniform.
I'm just giving suggestions from what I learned when I still took martial arts :o

I pretty much did the same thing. Minus the throwing up part.

hur dur im so tuf
I wasn't calling myself tough. I was simply stating that I had at least some fighting experience from when I took martial arts.

I did better in my second tournament, but my sister was pissed that I beat her at forms and sparring.

I was so into the sparring armor. I've been taking Blacksmithing classes and I was going to recreate something similar into metal.

I was clearly referring to the OP.

I wanted the P2 sparring gear I saw in some of the catalogs, but that stuff was $100 for a whole set, so I was stuck with the free stuff you got for joining. I guess it wasn't too bad that I didn't get the gear, I didn't take martial arts for too long. but I'm getting the urge to kick stuff, so I might try talking my parents into letting me back.

oh, sorry

I've never tried it before, but I call my move the death combo

I kick them in the balls, when they bend over holding thier balls in pain, I put both my hands together and pummel his head with all my strength, then I kick him a few times while he's on the floor.
