Author Topic: English help! D:  (Read 1009 times)

So, what my english teacher told me is that I have to take a quote from Macbeth (my quote is "Angels are bright still, but even the fell")
then I have to choose a person or event that relates to it.
I chose Riddlers because his rise to power and such
then he told me we have to have something that ties into Riddlers, which also relates back to my quote

can anyone thing of any stories or events that can relate?

To the quote, or Riddler?

To the quote, or Riddler?
Both kinda
like his quote was something like "In this world today, doing wrong can be taken lightly, but sometimes doing right you get punished" or something along those lines.
His opening thing was how some girl wrote a letter how she didnt like some governor, then he related that to free speech saying that there wasnt free speech in Iran which he then related to how some women spoke out for something right and was arrested

Well you'd be questioned for comparing Riddler to an angel.

Think someone who had a rise to fame in American history and fall.  I can't pull a name off the top of my head even though there are tons, but relate the quote to someone that wasn't a power-hungry anti-Semitic dictator.

Well the quote is talking about Lucifer
Riddler was a very smart kid and did well in school, he gained popularty and then his rise to power, though he did grow up hating jews

Just stay away from using Riddler.  People will think you are weird and like Riddler.

Bill Clinton would be good for that quote.  :cookieMonster:

Anakin Skywalker
No, he was an angel, fell into darkness, then died as an angel >:O

grow up hating jews
he was power hungry
after wwi where germany went into economic collapse, he blamed it on the jews for their superior math skills
then a miracle happens
and he becomes supreme overload dictator emperor of national socialist germany

He forced the leader of the browncoats to step down so he could be leader

He forced the leader of the browncoats to step down so he could be leader
then a miracle happens
I already covered that

How about you use the event called "World War II"

I came into this topic expecting grammar
