For some reason, while waking up, this popped into my head and it infuriated me awake. I believe it's because I hate when something is blown out of proportion to cause major trouble. You've still done something wrong, and thus you can never win. You didn't actually do something as bad as what's said, but you did something wrong and thus you have no trust you didn't do worse. Those types of situations piss me off to no end, seriously. They put you in such a difficult, nonnegotiable, inescapable position, and you can do nothing.
