Fawlty Towers (1975–1979) was a BBC television sitcom
about hotel owner Basil Fawlty's incompetence, short fuse, and arrogance
that form a combination that ensures accidents and trouble are never far away.

Any fans of this brilliant show? I just finished it yesterday and I already want to watch it again. It's truly a shame it only has 12 episodes. For those who did watch this, are there any similar sitcoms like this one? Anything you'd recommend? Thanks in advance.

That probably explains it. As you can see, it's pretty old.

My parents watched this a ton. It got boring after the first 6 episodes but that's probably because I didn't understand the humor at the time.

A lot of it is English/European humour.
But that goes without saying because it's the BBC

Holy forget, yes! Great stuff!

You should probably watch "How to irritate people". I've only seen one sketch from it, but it was great!

Okay, I'll be sure to look this up. Thanks!

Also added some clips to the OP.

Fawlty Towers is awesome :D

Fawlty Towers was good, but Only Fools And Horses is funnier (imo).

Watched it a lot but fell out of view once my life got busy. Real good show.

Yeah I heard it was pretty good, gonna try that one as well.

John Sullivan will be sadly missed, he wrote some of the best comedy.

Oh my god thank you for reminding me of this show!
