It's not so much that I really hate being called a "he", it's more like after all the effort I put into proving myself, people still like to pretend that there's a reason to doubt.

There is always reason to doubt, my dear! Why, when you see people on the street, do you just freely believe whatever gender they happen to say they are? Of course not! You devout your life to experimenting on and prodding at the person to discover the answer, reaching any bound so you may know what is truth! You spend your life's energy researching so that you may one day stand up and pronounce "I have found the answer!". That is what Science is all about! Not betterment, or justice, or even truth! It's about proving you were right from the start, and if you weren't, die having everyone believe what you preached only to be discredited 15 years in the future by someone with a much better point.

First of all, you've been trying way too hard to prove yourself as a girl.

The only thing I can admire about Stocking is that she can so easily ignore people, which infuriates them.

I hardly do try to start flame wars at the MLP thread now, hell, all I really do is drop in and say something,  not try to start some huge flame war, and i don't believe that Stocking is a guy, if you seriously need to take your anger on someone who thinks Stocking is a guy, go for Tony.
You were a good friend but when someone has an opinion you don't like you go absolutely batstuff, even if they were your friend.
