Sometimes I wish there was a basic competency test to determine whether people should vote

Well, it's how you play the game. Pull on the heartstrings whenever you can. Also, I don't understand how Obama is "extreme liberal"
It's what everyone does, pin the stuff going wrong on the last party in charge.

They did it with (notably and fairly recently) LBJ, Nixon, Jimmy Carter, Reagan, etc. Obviously everyone campaigning in 2008 had to at least distance themselves from Bush's policies and economic strategies by saying 'I'm not Bush and he sucks! Vote for me I'll do things differently!*"

Now everyone's saying everything is stuff and the world is forgeted unless we take the reigns of evil socialist America and turn it back into the wholesome Christian moral-righteousness that America used to be (probably before the Civil War seeing how far back we have to go to even see some semblance of that "way" of thinking). Oh and this time around, you can't say you like Obama or else you'll be dead in the water come November.

Not to mention Rick Perry isn't well liked in Texas anyhow, and this isn't the first time America has seen a Texan president. Might've worked if Rick Perry was the first one trying to gain presidency, but not this time.

It's called the Electoral College, lol.

What.

What.
Obama's the guy that "didn't do anything" while in office. Oh and Obamacare.

Not my own opinion but that's what the political climate is for running against him in 2012.

Edit: Oh and people think Obama didn't change anything made things worse etc. Bush wasn't so bad blah blah whine whine.

Arguable, but yeah, that seems to be the common misconception.

Some guy got in trouble for saying Jesus Christ in class the other day at my school. It's a bit ridiculous.

It is really arguable, I'm really certain both sides have valid points. The problem is the GOP candidates really are trying to ride the backlash vote into 2012 while not really supporting any real solutions to the problems.

Riding political correctness was probably the Democrat's biggest mistake.

Seriously, John Huntsman is the only guy I would feel safe voting for if I could vote in 2012.

But yeah, I agree with most people here, the GOP needs to get their stuff together.

what lol
schools don't do that
if what whoever this is was saying was true, there wouldn't be a such thing as Christmas break
who is Rick Perry?
obviously a handicap

Are you understanding everything, do you got me? I'm saying that it's arguable that Obama did nothing. Obama did plenty of stuff.
