Author Topic: Can't seem to update via Launcher  (Read 1267 times)

Whenever I start the BlocklandLauncher, I get stuck on this file:
http://cloud.blockland.us/blobs/9da91df380b106b29dc5fc2adbbaec69282de917

Blockland never opens.

While it could be my DSL (this has happened before with certain files), I was unable to download it from a different connection.

Turning off the connection throws an error, claiming that it can't find the Blockland application. I've confirmed that it exists in .app, so I'm not sure what's happening.

I'm on a mac, 10.6.8.

Here's my console for Launcher.app:

Thanks in advance.

Now that I see, I got stuck on that file, but never reported it because it didn't seem too bad when all I had to do was delete Blockland and reinstall it...maybe it's just a co-incidence? I think mine is just over slow internet, but I did get stuck on that exact file.

I tried downloaded the latest Launcher Badspot posted, to no avail.
How long did it take you to download? All the files, except this one, didn't take long at all; I've waited a half hour for this file :|

It took me 10 minutes. Not exactly, but estimated.

Please try again with the latest version of the launcher http://forum.blockland.us/index.php?topic=172945.0 and repost your console log if the problem persists.

Yep, that's the launcher I'm currently using.

Also, if it means anything, I've tried chmoding my Blockland folder so that everyone has read and write permissions. I've also tried a fresh install with the latest Launcher file.

No it isn't.

No it isn't.

I've tried both the .zip and .dmg. The console outputs 1359.

I've deleted all the copies to the Launcher too, unless it caches somewhere.

Ok, I got it to work. It took awhile, but it worked.
It was my DSL...
