I wake up at 5:10ish and find that the heater on the house is stuck at 88F, and it will not respond at all, and it's very slowly rising heat wise.

My house is currently a oven at 6 in the morning, not fun at all.

Why are you asking us? Your the TOASTY Engineer. You think of something!

Call someone to fix it/tell your parents to call someone to fix it

god dammit I was gonna say that

>Take hot shower
>Come out of shower freezing cold

Walk around your house naked.

Open some windows.

I mean, seriously. Its December, that's a no-brainer.

What kind of toasty engineer are you?

I think your story is full of hot air  :cookieMonster:

My house has an emergency manual shut off switch, one in my room for upstairs and one on the basement stairs for the first floor. Throwing these will shut off the heater.

If you don't have one on the wall, check the heater unit itself.

I wonder if the circuit breaker panel has a switch to the heater...

look for a reboot button.

Throw some water on the heater and make your house a steam room.
