Author Topic: Ordered a new Gaming Computer  (Read 1693 times)

I heard of one selling for $1500.
Some dude sold an unusual team captain for a few THOUSANDS.
Crazy, right?
Not even surprised tbh.  Some people are that desperate.

It wasn't a few thousand, it was $1500, like I said.

A 2.7 GHz what?
Why does it take a month to actually get the computer?
This.

OP, post the entire specs, so we can see what processor it actually is.

Also, one month for them to ship it out?
Hell, if they have to build it, it would only take a day, then maybe a day testing/installing stuff, then they can send it out.

What the hell is an Unusual?
They're like... well, they're what they're called. Unusuals. In TF2 you randomly get items, and some are rarer than others. Those are unusuals. And some people love getting unusuals. So they buy them, I guess.

Now I want to find one :D
That would really make my year.

You don't find them, you uncrate them. And keys cost $2.50 each.

Edit: Entire specs added to OP.

Processor, mobo, and GPU are horrible.

Could have done a lot better ..

You could have got a quad or hexa core and a better GPU with that money.

That's it, I'm getting on TF2.

Just really wanted a rig to play TF2 and such, not something to play like BF3 on.

You could've saved money then.
Oh well. It's not too bad, it's still worth like $550.

considering $300 of it was from a virtual item you sold, if you really think about it, you did pretty good  :cookieMonster:

Spending money made from virual items on a computer to play the game from which you got said virtual items from better to get more virtual items. Smart.

Did you get it custom built at iBuyPower? Because it really seems that way to me...
